Yogbox 2.0 mod statement
"If you've bought the Game, you may play around with it and modify it by adding modifications, tools, or plugins, which we will refer to collectively as "Mods." By "Mods," we mean something original that you or someone else created that doesn't contain a substantial part of our copyrightable code or content. When you combine your Mod with the Minecraft software, we will call that combination a "Modded Version" of the Game. We have the final say on what constitutes a Mod and what doesn't. You may not distribute any Modded Versions of our Game or software, and we’d appreciate it if you didn’t use Mods for griefing. Basically, Mods are okay to distribute; hacked versions or Modded Versions of the Game client or server software are not okay to distribute. " Stated from the Minecraft EULA, under 'USING OUR GAME'. Under 'OWNERSHIP OF OUR GAME AND OTHER THINGS', it states, "Any Mods you create for the Game from scratch belong to you (including pre-run Mods and in-memory Mods) and you can do whatever you want with them, as long as you don't sell them for money / try to make money from them and so long as you don’t distribute Modded Versions of the Game. Remember that a Mod means something that is your original work and that does not contain a substantial part of our code or content. You only own what you created; you do not own our code or content."
I am stating this for one reason and one reason only: Everyone is getting pissed at me for putting mods in the modpack without listing them. The paragraph above states that "Any mods you create for the Game from scratch belong to you. Every mod made using Forge Mod Loader is not made from scratch, yet made with a modified version of the game in which users used edited source code to add and remove things from the game itself. Forge Mod Loader edits the source of Minecraft allowing users to then edit Minecraft's source by adding mods into the game. All mods are free to force modpack creators to credit their mods, in which is simply put acceptable, yet somewhat allowing. While Forge Mod Loader is responsible for the creation of the mods, the mod creator is responsible for how it is distributed and contained. The Technic Platform ToS states that any damage done to a modpack is not responsible by them, meaning mods taken down, the modpack being removes, or the files being deleted.
So, while I've stated all this, I'm trying to make the point where I do not need to list the mods in the modpack itself, because of the Minecraft EULA and the Technic Platform ToS, but, I will list them for you here. I am not required to link to the modpacks home page.
